Introducing Interior Designer Rachel Chudley
I don’t usually get hooked on interior designers, I tend to fall obsessively in love with artists usually. But the work of Rachel Chudley I have become completely mesmerised by over the last few months, she is an artist in her own right. She tells stories through the walls of homes, filling the spaces with electric, eccentric treasures and colours. Her work is filled with set-design-esc features, that are completely unique to her style, you really enter her world. She carriers a strong, bold narrative into every room. If you have an idol half an hour I really advise you give her a big online stalk, you won’t be disappointed. If I were ever to use an interior designer for my home it would only be her.
Lulu's Ladies
A Trip To Blenheim Palace
I spent last Wednesday pottering about Blenheim Palace, sipping champagne and getting lost in the grand halls of Blenheim looking at the "Icons of British Fashion" exhibition. All dolled up with the girls, giggling and no stop nattering, it was a special day. We all went to Lulu Guinness room which completely stole the show with giant flowers and tree installations with hanging handbags, I was exciting seeing my forest floor bag up there. The exhibition had some of the greats in there, Vivienne Westwood, Galliano, Temperley and lots more. Blenheim is an opulent masterpiece, I have just read the book called "Heiresses" that talks about all the infamous duchess's, princes's & gilded women throughout history. It's full of juicy scandals and fascinating pockets of history. I highly recommend.
