Eloise Dörr
Eloise Dörr is a self-taught artist based in London. Her charming characters are inspired by her love of skateboarding and storytelling.
After leaving school, unsure of what path to take next, she started a blog for her illustrations. Around this time she also took up skateboarding, and it wasn’t long until she merged the two and thus began the development of her signature skateboarding characters.
In the 9 years since she first began this journey her characters have travelled through a plethora of environments and scenarios, ranging from acrylic and watercolour nature scenes to scratchy ink city scapes, and everywhere in-between. She likes to take her characters on journeys "doused in curiosity and wanderlust, based around solitude and community".
Her characters have been the centre point of a number of collaborative projects with brands such as Vans, Nike and now us. :)

"Art has been a tool of communication since the beginning of humanity. It's a route we've taken for centuries when we want to convey a message. It's a powerful tool to use, you know the classic phrase 'a picture paints a thousand words', it may be overused but it's definitely true. Activism through art plays a hugely important role in our society." - Eloise Dörr.
